| Description: |
9" Flat sander containing 120 (fine) grit on half of one face and 60 (medium) grit on the other half. This hand sander contains tungsten carbide grit welded onto 1/16" steel plate. This tool contains both the fine and medium grit; the 60 grit is used for removing the bulk of the material whist the 120 grit for finishing the surface. It is a versatile tool that can be used like a conventional file, as a file for thin slots or attached to a block of wood and used as a block sander. As with all Dura-GRIT tools the grit will not tear loose and will last a lifetime. The burr can be cleaned with a wire brush, soaked in solvent or even burned with a propane torch, to remove stubborn clogs such as sap, paint or urethane. |
