1/8" pointed burr on 1/8" mandrel with 120 (fine) grit - 35,000RPM rated. This pointed tip is ideal for detail work. The pointed tip allows for easy hole drilling, the tip will not "walk" on shiny surfaces like twist drill. The is no need to centre punch before drilling. The gritted sides allow for hole enlargement or cutting of slots or other irregular shapes. As with all Dura-GRIT tools the grit will not tear loose and will last a lifetime. The burr can be cleaned with a wire brush, soaked in solvent or even burned with a propane torch, to remove stubborn clogs such as sap, paint or urethane. |
