The short kit for this Boeing-Bell C-22 Osprey has been designed by Charles G Loud 111 and is a scale masterpiece. The aircraft is designed for 2 large electric engine and features tilt rotors. The fuselage is designed as a single piece with stabilizers attached and a one piece wing which fits onto the top of the fuselage. There is also a very detailed plan of the tilt rotor mechanism making this big C-22 a great project. Construction follows traditional methods involving balsa and ply.
The short kit includes all fuselage formers and ribs, 631 pieces in total. Also included in the short kit is a set of half size plans. These plans are at half size to the plane and are extremely detailed drawings. A set of construction notes is also included. Balsa sheeting can be supplied separately as well as fibreglass components, hardware kit and retracts.
